Last month saw the launch of the HHIC’s new Benchmark App which enables you to complete the checklist for a boiler digitally for the first time.
We’ve got some even better news - As of Monday 7th June 2021 you can use the Baxi Toolbelt App to complete the Benchmark Checklist!
Step 1 - Ensure you have the latest version of the Baxi Toolbelt App.
Step 2 – Download the Benchmark App and register for an account.
Step 3 – Login to Baxi Works on the Baxi Toolbelt App.
Step 4 – Register a boiler. At the end of the boiler warranty and Gas Safe registration (and retrospectively from the Product Registration History) you will be given the option to proceed with completing the Benchmark Checklist.
Step 5 – Complete the Benchmark Checklist.
Done! Everything there, all in one place – seamless!
Baxi is proud to have been involved in the development of the digital Benchmark Checklist. And now that it’s in the Baxi Toolbelt App, we believe it will bring a wealth of benefits for both you and your customers.
Now you can ditch the paper version, save time and keep everything in one place, by doing it on the Baxi Toolbelt App when you register the boiler.

A: First, you will need to download the Benchmark App from either the App store for iOS devices or Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to register for a Benchmark account. The Benchmark app is free to download and use!
A: The next time you complete a warranty or warranty and Gas Safe registration through Baxi Works, you will be asked if you would like to start a Digital Benchmark submission. To do this you will be asked to link your Benchmark account with your Baxi Works account. Please select ‘yes’ when prompted. You will then be taken to a Benchmark page and asked to enter your username and password for your Benchmark account and to authorise it. This will link the two accounts securely.
A: Baxi has worked in partnership with the HHIC/Benchmark and other industry manufacturers to develop the digital Benchmark app to provide installers with a quick and easy way of completing a Benchmark submission. The additional option of linking your Baxi Works account with your Benchmark account makes the process of completing Benchmark even easier for you:
A: The paper Benchmark form is still currently available, but in time it will be phased out.
A: Yes you can. If you are not able to complete the Digital Benchmark submission at the end of a warranty registration, you can select ‘Not now’ and complete it at a more suitable time by visiting your ‘Product registration history’ page in your Baxi Works account. However, this must be done within 30 days of the date of installation.
A: You can only complete a Digital Benchmark submission for any new boiler installations. They can’t be back dated.

A: As per the standards set by the HHIC (Heating and Hot Water Industry Council) the Benchmark submission must be completed within 30 days from the date of installation.
A: The Digital Benchmark app has been created as an app only, and currently there is not a web version available. To get the best experience, we advise you to use the Baxi Toolbelt App to register your Baxi boilers for warranty and Gas Safe and link the Benchmark app with it, to reduce the amount of paperwork you have to do.

A: Yes, at the end of the Benchmark process there is the option to add the householder's email address so you can send them a copy of the record.
